This is a sample menu of the type of food you may expect to be served on board The Wessex Rose. It’s important to us that we serve you interesting, varied and satisfying food with exceptional quality and that wherever possible we support the local economy. We offer fixed menus but if you have any specific needs please do not hesitate to let us know either at time of booking or at any time before your cruise begins.
Breakfast
Full range of cooked breakfast, cereals, fruit, yogurt, toast etc served with tea or coffee and fresh fruit juice
Lunch
A variety of different lunches each day including salads, risottos, wraps/sandwiches, soup & roll etc

Goats cheese in filo parcels with an apricot compote, baby vine tomatoes & balsamic reduction
Homemade mini fishcakes served with a sweet chilli sauce
Blue cheese and apricot salad with walnut dressing
Lamb and rosemary kebabs on an apple and celery salad served with minted Greek yogurt dressing
Entrees/Main Courses
Chicken breast stuffed with red pepper and sun-dried tomatoes, wrapped in parma ham and served on a wild mushroom risotto
Parmesan crusted salmon fillet served on a bed of tagliatelle carbonara
Herb crusted rack of lamb on wilted spinach served with seasonal baby vegetables and roasted baby potatoes
Beef slow cooked in Guiness served with crushed celeriac and seasonal baby vegetables
Desserts
White chocolate ice cream decorated served with fresh strawberries and homemade strawberry sauce
Vanilla panna cotta served with raspberry coulis and fresh raspberries
Homemade brandy snap basket filled with vanilla ice cream, topped with fresh strawberries and blueberries
Traditional bread and butter pudding with creamy vanilla custard
