The Wessex Rose launch date is set

David and Karen are very pleased to announce that thanks to the hard work and dedication of the crew at Milburn Boats over the cold winter months, the Wessex Rose will be ready for launch on 1st May 2013!

The launch will take place by kind permission of Kate Boats at Stockton Top Marina, after being skillfully extracted from the Milburn Boats boat shed at Staverton, near Daventry by A B Tuckey specialist boat transport service.  Moving and launching the boat will require an abnormal load transporter and two cranes at both the boat yard and the marina.

This will be a very big day for us and we’re very excited at the prospect of finally seeing our boat on the water. We’ll be updating the news page with pictures and video of the big event as soon as we’re up and running on board.
