The Wessex Rose – About The Boat
Cruise aboard the very latest in luxury, design, quality and innovation. The Wessex Rose is one of the most luxurious wide beam hotel boats in England, offering spacious accommodation for up to six people in three en-suite cabins, all of which can be configured as either twin or double rooms.
Purpose built and fitted out by specialist boat builders, the Wessex Rose was planned and crafted specifically as a hotel boat. The revolutionary design includes innovative ideas and the latest modern day equipment providing a unique vessel for carrying up to six passengers on England’s inland waterways with all the comforts, luxury and quality of a modern day floating hotel.
The hull was crafted using British steel by Tyler Wilson who have a long history in canal boat building and an eye for pleasing lines. The interior was created by Milburn Boats, a family company with a strong reputation for quality, dedication and exceptional craftsmanship.
Designed specifically around the sizes of locks and bridges, the Wessex Rose is 69ft long, 12ft 5in wide and weighs around 50 tonnes.
